This was Draper Lake, Oklahoma Riding Stables. A few of the horses they have there.

This is Cisco, he's the horse I got to ride. Funny thing about this horse, he didn't want to go; he reared up and bucked a few times, trying to get back into the coral. The person who was taking us on the tour is Rob; he had to lead this horse almost a half-mile away from the corral before the horse decided it was ok to go. It was funny. I didn't mind the bucking and stuff; it was kinda fun, but I didn't want to go back to the corral like he did.

And... here's Trigger, the horse Brian rode. He was actually a pretty mellow horse compared to Cisco.

Geddy up and go; eeehh hawwww!

Finally, the reins were given back to me and the horse decided to take the tour...!

Off we went, to ride around the lake; Over the hills and through the woods, to "grammas house we went". NOT! It was great riding through the trees; we had a great two hour ride around the lake and through the woodsy areas. We were even able to see a mountain lion's paw prints in the dirt; and... by the look of the distance between the front and back feet, it was a pretty big cat!

This is Brian, our friend who helped us move out from California; He is riding Trigger and by the looks of him, he thought he was "all that". Mr. Cool; Give a man a horse and he thinks he can do anything... hehe...

Here we are coming back from the ride, Rob was pointing over to the lake, showing us the wild gueese that hang around the lake. Good thing we left when we did, as we were heading back to the corral, it started raining...
