Pics from oklahoma

Oklahoma Zoo. Now this was just one of many pictures taken the day Brian and I went searching for something to do. Needless to say, we ended up at the Oklahoma Zoo. What a HUGE place it is; it's actually 3000 acres, but although we saw alot of it, I don't really think I walked 3000 acres....

Mike, Autumn, Skyy and Nicholas... Mike is holding the girls and Nicholas is peeking from the kitchen.... Rachel's house right across the street... Nice being so close to them.

Brian at the state fair... Another day of exploring in Oklahoma and we ended up at the state fair in Oklahoma. Mike always seemed to be working or he didn't want to go anywhere so Brian and I went alone. This fair was definitely smaller than the one we're used to going to in Sacramento, California; but it was fun. Brian went on this swing ride after I had gone on the Spaceship (the one that ruined the rest of my riding) since I was almost GREEN after going on it. ) I will never go on that ride again----

Bricktown, Oklahoma city... What a lovely place to go visit. This place is in downtown Oklahoma, across from the Ford Center (I think they play baseball or football there, not sure which), but the moat around bricktown is cool; you can even rent a boat to take the tour around this area of the city.

Nicholas and Skyy at Yukon Park...This picture is of my grandkids playing with another girl at the Yukon Park. It's so nice to be around the kids; especially since I've been away from them most of their lives. Nana right across the street is cool. I see them across the street and they yell out, "hi nana", which brings warmth to my heart every time.

Denver Colorado Lightening Storm... Mike was on a run in Denver Colorado when out of the blue came a storm he just couldn't let go. What a rainy day this was for him. Pretty isn't it? I don't much like lightening and thunder, but this really looked cool when he sent me the picture so I put it in the blog...

Skyy, Autumn & Nicholas at McDonalds. I took the kids to McDonalds to have some Ice Cream and look where they disappeared to....Up the tube, go figure.... I love it.

Brian and Gayle goofing off in Oklahoma City, OK... Brian and I on another exploring date and we ended up in Downtown OKC. We found this great place to take funny pictures and so there you have it... Don't we look weird in this pic? That's one way to get skinny, huh?

Autumn at the park in Yukon, Ok. This one is one of my favorite days ever so far. Autumn was screaming, "go faster nana" this is fun! She was having the time of her life in that little swing! Oh the joys of having grandkids.

These are just a few of the photos I've taken lately. I hope you enjoy them and I will update when I can. but now it's time to get in the shower and maybe go take myself out to the truckstop for breakfast so that I don't wake anyone else up at the house since Mike needs his sleep, and Brian doesn't need to be woke up at 0500; but in case he is awake after I get out of the shower, maybe I'll invite him to breakfast too.

Love to you all who read this....

See you on the road Julie if you can be between Illinois, Indiana, and Oklahoma! As that will be our route! See ya around there.
