Having a wonderful time with the Jacobs's

Here is a picture taken of another picture that Uncle Pete had of Mike's grampa and grampa. Isn't it something...? Taking a picture of another picture and having it come out so well.

Mike's grampa and gramma, his dad, Harry, Uncle Pete and Uncle John. What a handsome family, huh?

Uncle Pete and Ellie at Karl and Lisa's home. Karl and Lisa had invited everyone over and we had a wonderful time as you can see...

This pic was taken by Uncle Pete. This was Uncle John, myself, and Aunt Ellie.

Couldn't resist this one... I have always loved candid shots, and Uncle John didn't see this coming... Surprise, Uncle John!

Mike's Aunt Nelda and Uncle John. They call themselves the traveling Gypsies, as they have a motorhome and travel quite a bit. Maybe we can meet up somewhere in the country and see some of the sights together.

Lisa, Mike's cousin's wife, and her mother-in-law, Nelda (Mike's Aunt).

Aunt Nelda and Mike. This has been so much fun, meeting with the family. I sure do appreciate our Driver Manager, who has made this possible.

Uncle John and me... He calls me the Hugger! How cute is that... When I first met him, he actually shook my hand--the next time, I grabbed him and gave him a hug and told him I didn't do handshakes... It kind of softened him up a bit and I've hugged him and Aunt Nelda ever since. They both are a wonderful part of our family. It's so good to see them all.

Here is Karl. He and his wife Lisa, and their family, which you can see in the following pictures, have been so full of fun! They really make us feel at home and a part of their family. Gosh, so many years has passed and it's like I've known them my whole life. Now how cool is that? And can she cook! He's one lucky guy!

Here is Karl and Lisa together. They really do make a cute couple, don't they?

This is Jack (another cousin), Karl, and Uncle John. As you can see, Jack is the quiet one, always seems to be in the background. I'll try in the future to get him in a close up... You just never know. He is the quieter of the two cousins from Uncle John and Aunt Nelda. Henry, I know you are following the blog and we really

Meet Julia, Karl's oldest, and her boyfriend Jordan... Thanks for showing me how to use my phone a little better. It was such fun to see you again. What a beautiful prom dress you have. I knew I should have worn my pink hat--glad you like pink too...

And this is Karl's youngest, Jenna. This girl is going to be a dynamite surfer some day from what I heard. I really enjoyed your pictures and your stories about your vacations. And Jenna, keep dancing--you're wonderful.

I just loved Abbey, (my namesake, lol) I'm sorry she got sick and threw up all over the floor...It wasn't me who gave her that food, I promise... although with a luv like her, it would be hard to resist.... I love the kitties too... So cute...

Mike is Soooooo happy, isn't he.... He gets to take us on a delivery! Yay.

Uncle Pete going for a road trip with Mike (the next picture) and Ellie and I. We still have to deliver the load we brought out here. These two pictures are kind of out of order, but with the trouble I'm having with this program right now, you will all have to understand....

Here they are, the next day! Tore up from the floor up...hehehe... The only one awake in the house is Kayla.

Meet one of the most beautiful dogs I've ever seen in my lifetime, Kayla. She is my buddy and SMART, yes. She remembered us from the last time we came and I brought her dog bones and a toy. She loved the toy and the bones.

Meet Ellie's mom, gramma...She and I used to write to each other and we would forget whose turn it was. I asked her if she would like me to write postcards to her and she said she would absolutely love it. Love you gramma. I will write postcards to you wherever we go.

Squirrel outside the window.....

And finally, the baby's blanket I had decided to get done for my granddaughter... It's almost finished, everything but the stars sewn on the blanket that spells the name. "S-T-A-R-R"...

Until the next time. I hope you all read and continue to send your comments. Love you all. Gayle and Mike

Looks like you had a wonderful time...Me? I spent Thanksgiving driving between Effingham, IL. and Joplin, MO. I cruised the buffet line at the Joplin Flying J, and I'm cool with that. I'm glad I was able to grab your load so you could get home...It actually worked out for me too. I stayed at my parent's house even though they were out of town visiting other relatives. But the reason I'm good with working on Thanksgiving was because it set me up to see my dentist, and that episode went fantastically!
