Charlotte, NC to Henderson, CO

Hi, we had a great trip from North Carolina to Denver. Sorry haven't written so much, but during a long trip, I sometimes find myself tired and not willing to write... Go Figure. This trip was a special one for me, as we got to go toward South Carolina. South Carolina is special because my brother Kevin and his family live there in a little town called Traveler's Rest. I got to give them their Christmas presents and Kevin's was special because it was a remote controlled Helicopter so that he could follow us around the country when he wants to find us. I told Mike that he wouldn't wait to play with it and as it turned out, he didn't even finish out his work day, he went home at lunch and started flying his new copter. He even crashed it and his buddy, Daniel (who is the co-pilot, and repair man, according to my brother) was playing too. I'm so glad they enjoyed their presents. I got his wife, Tersia a little tiny book about being happy, and as it turned out, she collects tiny books (what luck, huh?). Chris got a remote controlled Dragonfly (which he loved too.) Can't wait til New Years when we will get to spend 3 days with them.
That was the South Carolina part of the trip, which as far as I'm concerned, is the best part of the trip.
I drove through Tennessee, Kentucky, and Arkansas, woke Mike up and he drove for the next 565 miles or so. I drove in to the customer and dropped the trailer. I really do LOVE those Drop & Hook loads....
Now, we are getting ready to go to Fort Collins, CO to pick up a beer load (Budweiser) and take it to Las Vegas, NE. I will write more later.
I'm really having fun going all over the country and I keep sending post cards to my girlfriend, Sue who is creating a beautiful album for my grandkids. What a beautiful bunch of cards I have sent her. She's my best friend and I sure do miss her alot.
WORDS OF ADVICE:
I did get some bad news when I got up from sleeping though. My stepbrother, Terry has suffered a major stroke which has left him paralized on his left side of the body. Please remember, if you suffer from diebetes, and high blood pressure, that you need to continue taking your medication for this ailment or this could happen to you as well. If you cannot afford this medication (which is why he didn't take it), please find a way to get it, either by Medi-Cal, or disability. DON'T TAKE A CHANCE WITH YOUR HEALTH! As it turns out, he is 45 and in a rest home and is learning to talk, sit up, and try to learn to walk again. Please think about this.
