Turlock, California
North Valley Nut! That's the sign I'm looking at right now. We've just bumped the dock in Turlock California. Our load assignment is taking us to Scranton, Pennsylvania. I will keep posting so you will know what's happening on our journey. So far, before getting to the customer, we stopped right down the street from here and picked up an Ultimate Bacon Cheesburger and coke from Jack in the Box. Mike is standing outside right now talking to his daughter Jasmin on the phone. She lives in Germany. They have started loading the truck and it shouldn't be long before we start our cross country journey. I get to try out the new bed we bought while on home time in Sacramento. It's pretty comfortable. Love it. When you are traveling cross country all the time, a GOOD bed is definitely needed. What's cool about this job is that we can meet up with other friends who drive truck as well, and we did just that before coming to the customer. Mike got to show off our truck to a friend, Gene, who works for Air Gas. His truck is much smaller than ours.... Until later, Gayle
