The truck is fixed, but....

Hey, Uncle Pete.... I know you are reading the blog, and I haven't transferred your phone number from the old phone to the new one, so since I am blogging, here's the address you wanted to get Kayla into Medical Service. It's called sales@petjoyonline.com Contact them and Kayla can be a Medical Alert Dog for you and Ellie.

Ok, back to my original post...
Yes, Mike made it back to the motel late Sunday evening, and I went over to the Knight Yard early the next morning to check on the status of the truck. The part had not yet come in, but according to the mechanic, it should be there by 10:00. Ten o'clock came and went and still no part from PeterBilt. Finally, about 11:00 the part was there and Richie was holding the flex pipe in hand and was ready to install the gasket! Yay! We got our load to go home, but it doesn't pick up til 0600 on Tuesday morning (up in Logan, Utah) at Schreiber. From what DeAnna said to me, it won't be nice going up to Logan because of the snow, but what the heck, we'll give it a shot, I thought. But since we don't pick up til Tuesday, we kept the room for another night so I could wash some clothes and Mike could get some more rest. Then we asked about a trailer....? Greg finally called me about 17:00 to tell me about where and when to get an MT trailer... There are 7 trucks in the utah area and all are needing trailers and there just weren't any to use yet. So, the load will be picked up late because we won't get a trailer until tuesday afternoon!

Gotta go put my clothes in the dryer... be right back

Ok, I'm back, the clothes are in the dryer and DeAnna has just called me to inform me that Logan is where a friend of hers named Dennis lives and he's always getting snowed in when it snows up there. Great, I thought. Don't want to get stuck on that mountain in this weather. Well, when I leave the yard, I will make sure I have a full tank of fuel just in case something goes wrong.
