After picking up the kids and getting them their rental car, we decide to drive over to the Treasure Island.... to get the room.

You notice the "treasure" part of this picture? Well our room is in the "island" part of the picture, which was taken from inside the room...Ha ha, you can't see it...The room was on the 33rd floor, which is a security floor, needing a card key to enter this floor... Neat huh?

This is Las Vegas taken out of our window at night. What a beautiful sight huh?

And this is Las Vegas by day, taken through the window. I got up early while everyone slept, took my bubble bath (eat your heart out Julie!) and went for coffee and croisants for breakfast.
We had a great time in Vegas. Mike and I went to tour a timeshare program at the Tahita Village, which we said no to. All we wanted was the free gambling money and the show tickets for four. As it turned out, the gambling money was for a certain casino, and for a specific amount of slot machines--it was a bust! No Winners of course because the machines are rigged. The show, however, did turn out to be real and not too bad. It was the Le Follies Bergere, which was a topless show and Mike said most of the women in it were Scary looking and I thought they were too. The show was fantastic, but the women were really weird looking.
The time had come to say goodbye to the kids as we had to go back to work. They are going to meet us at the house next week. We said our goodbyes, gave them the map book and we headed out for our next load. This load was going from Henderson, Nevada, to Albuquerque, New Mexico. We did that load and swapped loads in Albuquerque, which will deliver in Fresno tomorrow morning. On the way, there was high winds through Arizona and I've taken the liberty to take a picture of Winslow, Arizona during the dust storm. Now, the wind gusts were up to 75 mph, and steadily getting worse. I couldn't drive faster than 50 mph because of it. It scared the heck out of me, and of course, once again, Mike was sleeping. We did have 44,000 lbs in the box.
