Here we are, still in Lake Station, Indiana. I really don't know why he calls it Chi-Town, as it is not even in Illinois, where Chicago is, which is the meaning for the words Chi-Town. I got up early this morning and left Mike sleeping as he will be driving out this afternoon. He needs his "beauty sleep"! Actually, I hate waking him up when he's beeb up late because he has a nasty attitude in the mornings. Can you blame him? He's not a morning person. Anyway, I got up at 0500 California time, which makes it 0800 here in Indiana, went into the T.A., had a buffet breakfast of COFFEE (most important), cream of wheat, a grapefruit half and I believe that was enough to get my morning started. Usually, whomever is up when we are at a stop is in charge of doing the laundry so guess what? It was my turn! I put the clothes in the wash and headed into the theatre (at the truckstop) to watch a pretty good movie. Too bad the theatre was freezing inside! They apparently keep it on the same thermostat as the laundry room (in order to keep it cooler in there) and there's just NO turning it down. We will be heading from here to Rochelle, Illinois to pick up a SARA LEE load that will be delivering in Denver, Colorado.

I really love Denver in the Summertime because it's totally beautiful, and besides that, there is a SAPP Brothers Truck Stop there that has a GORGEOUS Bathroom and shower. This bathroom is just awesome and I can get a sweet BUBBLE BATH in the same room where Mike can take a shower. It's actually the most beautiful bath/shower I've ever seen out in the trucker's world. I believe the room number is #1, in case any of my fans out there want to check it out some time.
Well, I hope you are all keeping an eye on us during our journey across the country. Keeping in touch by way of this blog so that you know we are safe and doing ok. Sometimes I get a little tired and don't feel like blogging when we are running cross country, or we may not have a good phone signal, or we don't get to Idle-Air. If that happens, don't be worried, we are usually fine, just a little tired and don't feel like blogging. I will try to be better at keeping up, but I'm only human and for all you "humans" out there, you know what I'm talking about. Until next time, we love you all and hope to see you when we can.
