Wisconsin to Idaho

I've never been to North Dakota during daylight hours... it actually started raining in Minnesota and when we got into North Dakota, the skies really fascinated me. I've been hooked on Clouds and sunrises it seems lately.



As you see, the clouds were dark at first in ND, but the sky was getting more fascinating as we drove along. Talk about being bored--taking pics of the clouds.. Wow!


Sometimes I find myself seeing different pictures of things in the clouds, like peoples faces and things. Don't ask me why I'm writing this stuff, I am just plain ole' bored... The thing I love about this state is that it is very green and there are alot of lakes (small ones) here that are really unique.




You can see the clouds are dissipating and finally some of the blue in the sky is showing. Now that is what it's all about! The beautiful blue sky is coming through.




Now these clouds look like they are standing at attention! One, two, three, etc.!!!
We are finally coming to the end of North Dakota here, as you see by the mountains. These are called the Painted Canyons of North Dakota. Notice the land is getting more mountainous, the closer you get to Montana.
