This is what the world looked like driving through Nebraska this time of year. It was almost a Winter Wonderland, and very cold.... -1 degrees out and good thing we have a great heater in the truck...

We've been pretty good about staying just a little ahead of the storms. I always say my prayers before driving and when Mike gets in the driver's seat too. I pray that God take my body and guide me in my travels. When Mike drives, I pray that he is always safe, all wheels are on the highway (where they belong), and that God's animals don't run out in front of our truck. My mother always wanted to be a truck driver and I think she is living her dream through me. How nice is that?
Like I've said, the weather has been pretty bad for the most part, but the roads are clear and speaking of clear--Guess what? We have found the most awesome product in the world when it comes to ice, snow, rain, dirt, bugs, and most anything that would land on the windshield. The stuff is a gel, it comes in a blue tube and you can buy it at Wal-Mart. Since we have had this on the windows, we haven't had to use our windshield wipers but maybe once through 3 snow storms. The product is called Window Clear. I highly recommend this to everyone who deals with snow and ice in the winter.
